Crafties
Welcome to The Crafties page! The Crafties of St. Dunstan’s is a vibrant, creative ministry dedicated to fostering community, raising funds, and providing support for our church and beyond. We are not just a group of talented artisans—we are a fellowship bound by purpose, love, and a desire to serve.
Who Are the Crafties?
The Crafties is a diverse group of crafters from St. Dunstan's and the wider community. While each member brings unique skills and talents, together we share a common goal: to enrich our parish life, support charitable needs, and extend the hand of compassion to those around us. Through our craft sales, we’ve become a major fundraising force for St. Dunstan’s, contributing significantly to events like the Holly Berry Bazaar and spring sales, as well as smaller after-service sales throughout the year.
Our Contributions and Community Impact
The Crafties’ contributions extend beyond the walls of St. Dunstan’s. As a ministry, we serve those in need, dedicating ourselves to charitable fundraising and hands-on support. Since forming this group, we’ve taken on a broader mission that includes crafting items to support others in the community during times of need.
Now, whether we are creating items to sell or donating handmade goods directly, we continue to blend our efforts in fundraising with our commitment to service.
What We Do
Fundraising for St. Dunstan’s: From the Holly Berry Bazaar to our spring sales and regular after-service offerings, The Crafties help fund special projects within the parish
Community Engagement: We welcome community members to join in our crafting efforts, drawing in new faces, skills, and ideas.
Supporting Those in Need: We are proud to be more than just a crafting group. We have supported Women’s Shelters, All Saints Sherbourne Street, Refugees, Centenary Hospital and during the pandemic frontline workers.
