Sunday Morning Worship

At St. Dunstan of Canterbury, Sunday mornings are a time to gather, worship, and grow in faith as a community. Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been part of our congregation for years, you are warmly invited to be part of this sacred time.

What to Expect

8:30 AM | Said Eucharist

Our day begins with a quiet, contemplative service of Holy Communion. This service is rooted in the beauty of ancient prayers and is a reflective space for those who prefer a smaller, more intimate gathering.

10:30 AM | Choral Eucharist

This is the heart of our Sunday worship, where the sanctuary fills with voices raised in prayer and song. Our Choral Eucharist features:

  • Vibrant Music led by our choir and organist, blending traditional hymns with more contemporary selections.

  • Children’s Ministry: During the service, children are invited to join our Sunday School program for an engaging time of learning and activities that nurture their growing faith.

  • Holy Communion: All people are welcome to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. If you are not receiving communion, you are invited to come forward for a blessing.
After the service, stay for fellowship in the parish hall, where coffee, tea, and light refreshments are served.

Ways To Be Involved

At St. Dunstan’s, Sunday mornings are not just about attending worship—they are also about contributing your gifts and talents to the life of the church. There are many meaningful ways to serve:

  • Serving at the Altar: Assist the clergy during the Eucharist as an acolyte or chalice bearer.

  • Reading Scripture: Proclaim the Word of God during the service as a lector.

  • Leading the Prayers: Offer intercessions on behalf of the congregation during worship.

  • Greeting: Extend a warm welcome to everyone who enters our doors, ensuring they feel at home.

  • Sunday School: Help nurture the faith of our youngest members by leading engaging lessons and activities.

  • Hospitality: Contribute to our time of fellowship by helping with coffee hour or special gatherings.

No matter your interests or experience, there is a place for you to serve. If you would like to get involved in any of these ministries, please reach out to our clergy or contact the church office.
